In this theatre piece from Young Jean Lee’s Theater Company, six charismatic stars of the New York theatre, dance, cabaret, and burlesque worlds come together to create an exhilaratingly irreverent, nearly-wordless celebration of fluid and limitless identity. The show explores the possibility of a feminist utopia, and does so without words, without clothes and without boundaries. Through movement, the cast explores form and flesh in ways that are purposefully ironic and brutally honest–inspiring audiences to question the narratives continuously imposed on their space.

“… one of the more moving and imaginative works I have ever seen on the American stage . . . Part of what makes it so transcendent is its delicious ability to alternate the pain of being different with a sense of humor about lives not lived among the status quo . . . Lee’s universe is so emotionally complete that I yearned to be part of her utopia.” — Hilton Als, The New Yorker
